Google’s New Translate Option

January 27, 2010

Google Translate Have you tried Google Translate lately?

I used it recently, and it did a fantastic job of translating an email from German to English, with no odd phrases or bad grammar.

Now they are offering this option in the Search Options panel of Google search. This is a nice feature Google has just rolled out. When you click on the option, you get a clean interface with the choice of translating a block of text, finding out the meaning of a specific word, or translating an entire web page.

It’s great that this new feature seems to have been debugged and works seamlessly for its users right from the get-go, unlike new rollouts by search engines that rhyme with Ding.
