The top and mid-level pages of this large ecommerce site were optimized for targeted keyword phrases, including both generic keywords and brands. It now successfully ranks on the first page of Google for a huge number of keyword phrases, including ranking at #4 for the single word “hats.” It is also ranking on Google’s first page for the highly competitive keyword “baseball caps.”

Hatclub.com is dominating hat related search and can be found organically on the first page of Google for eight super-important key terms, including, “baseball hats,” “New era hats,” “59fifty hats,” and the most difficult to obtain and most widely searched term, “hats.” Obtaining the term “hats” for HatClub.com is a big win. A local business that wanted exposure fast, John’s Pet Sitting opened online on June 3, 2009. A static WordPress site, it was optimized utilizing best SEO practices throughout.
By the end of July 2009 it was ranking on the first page of Google for great keywords including “pet sitting Chandler” and “pet sitter Ahwatukee.” In August it starting ranking in the Google 10 pack. Continued link building should give the site even better search engine rankings.
